Reliability Requirements and Safety Testing

1. Housing Temperature Rise: The power supply housing temperature rise under normal input and 100% rated load at 25℃±5℃ shall no more than 50℃.

2. Burn-in: The Power Supply shall be burn-in for 2 Hours under normal input and 100% rated load at 25℃±5℃, the product does not appear abnormal.

3. Lifetime: Standard: MIL-HDBK-217F, The MTBF shall be at least 30,000 hours at 25℃ max and normal input condition.

4. Audible Noise: Quiet environment 11.8″ distance the human ear can’t hear the noise.

5. Vibration Test: Frequency: 10-55Hz, Displacement: 0.35mm, Duration: 2 Hours, Sweep: For each axis(X, Y, Z). Assessment Criteria: Normal functional tests should be satisfied after the test.

6. USB in and Out Test: Insert the USB-in connector is ≤35N dynamics control, life 30000 times(Min). The allocated 0-30000 times, efforts should be in the range of 8N (Min). Assessment Criteria: Does not affect its performance.

7. Drop Test: Drop the adapter from 3.28ft height onto a 20mm thickness wood, hitting the adapter 6 times with each surface 1 time. Assessment Criteria: No mechanical damage, and no safety function abnormality.

8. Salty fog Test for Metal Part: Salty water thickness: 5%, Temperature: 15～25℃, Test time: 24 Hours, Recovery: 2 Hours by 25℃. Assessment Criteria: No erode and rust.
